Born from practicality in identifying friendly units, the nose art on WWII aircrafts evoked fond memories of home and expressed individuality when often constrained by the uniformity of the military. While the artistswere usually anonymous, the planes took on their own persona with the artwork carrying names such as 'Honey Bunny,' 'Sure Shot,' or 'Going My Way.’ Taking inspiration from this rich history, Oakley created a 3-piece collection to pay tribute to this time period. This collection features Gascan, Holbrook and Drop Point, all models featuring Prizm™ Lens Technology designed to enhance color and contrast to see more detail.
Inspired by the street glory of speed machines, Oakley® design language did a complete 180 in 2005. We traded soft curves for straight edges and hard lines to sculpt our very first high-wrap lifestyle shades. The toric lens design became known as Gascan® and it spawned an aesthetic so new and original, we customized our corporate logo for the frame.

Using it will preserve the superior optical quality of Oakley's pure Plutonite® lenses. Hand wash and air-dry the Microclear™ bag regularly.
