To honor the essence of independence and freedom, Oakley created a collection inspired by the Statue of Liberty. The timeless pad-print design is a symbol of hope, equality and opportunity--and embodies the very definition of American Heritage. Taking inspiration from this rich history, Oakley created a 3-piece collection to pay tribute to this American icon. This collection features Gascan®, Holbrook™ and Split Shot, all models featuring Prizm™ Lens Technology designed to enhance color and contrast to see more detail.Inspired by the street glory of speed machines, Oakley® design language did a complete 180 in 2005. We traded soft curves for straight edges and hard lines to sculpt our very first high-wrap lifestyle shades. The toric lens design became known as Gascan® and it spawned an aesthetic so new and original, we customized our corporate logo for the frame.

Take care of your lenses
To help maintain the High Definition Optics® (HDO®) of Oakley lenses, your new eyewear comes with a specially-woven electrostatic Microclear™ bag for cleaning and storage. Using it will preserve the superior optical quality of Oakley's pure Plutonite® lenses. Hand wash and air-dry the Microclear™ bag regularly.
