Heroes don’t wear capes. They wear helmets and boots, and gear that drips with sweat. They risk life and limb, and place their own lives second to those they save. There are no words to describe that kind of courage. The Thin Red Line honors the bravery of firefighters, and it pays respect to those who have been injured and killed in the line of duty. This Oakley collection proudly carries that symbolic line. It is a salute to the heroes among us, a tribute to the men and women who save lives and protect property, and a reminder to never forget the fallen.
Inspired by the street glory of speed machines, Oakley® design language did a complete 180 in 2005. We traded soft curves for straight edges and hard lines to sculpt our very first high-wrap lifestyle shades. The toric lens design became known as Gascan® and it spawned an aesthetic so new and original, we customized our corporate logo for the frame.
